Hey all!
So, things have been getting marginally more and more intense in-story for our characters, especially for the characters who've been investigating the Cutter! So, in keeping up with that momentum, I thought that I'd propose an idea of sorts, and I'd like to hear everyone's feedback on the matter!
My next topic would be one to push the central storyline--that of the Cutter--forward once again, serving as a 'season finale' of sorts. It would, no doubt, be a fighting/mystery focused topic, with the conclusion (possibly) resulting in many of the Cutter's secrets being either revealed or deduced! Also, due to it being such a big topic story-wise, I believe that it should also represent a bit of a shift in the story as well.
Once the topic had been completed, I believe it would be very fitting if many of the encounters with enemy Stand users past this point were significantly more serious and deadly, which would make quite a bit of sense in my mind. The Cutter, up until now, would have essentially been underestimating the group of people after him, and certainly wouldn't have thought it wise to send his best men after them. Depending on how things go in this topic, that could all change, meaning that he would be sending his best--and deadliest--men after our group.
It could also, potentially, mean that the Cutter would be forced to relocate himself in order to better achieve his goal, though what that is/what it may entail would also, possibly, be revealed in the story. This would mean that our heroes may have to leave New York behind in order to chase their foe down, meaning that they'd be embarking on quite the journey!
Now, if things ever do get to that point, where the RP may shift to encompass more than just New York, then I do have a solution in place in order to get around that, which would simply be to take advantage of our Liquid Timeline system and place the topic a few months ahead in the overall story, meaning that other topics could certainly still take place within the city, they would just be somewhat before this particular topic.
This is, of course, all up to you guys! I'm interested in hearing what you all think! Should we go this route, or would you all rather see something else? Tell me what you think!
