Name: Kai Alton
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Occupation: College Student, Psychology.
Race: Human
Physical Appearance: Kai had stopped growing at the height of 5’7, an acceptable height for her. Her dark brown hair is quite long so it can go into many forms, though she tends to keep it straight or in a bun on busier days where she doesn’t have the time. Her skin is dark brown, her eyes being the same but a little on the lighter side.
Clothing Appearance: Most days she doesn’t have the want to make her clothing choices very complicated. She’ll keep things around a simple T or plaid button up and a pair of jeans. She does enjoy the brighter colors, a little bit of vibrance though it mostly comes down to whats clean and goes together. She sometimes just goes straight for black or dark colors when she feels especially lazy.
Personality: A girl with a distant personality, Kai doesn’t enjoy being in spot lights. She finds herself introverted to a degree, she doesn’t enjoy big crowds of people and conversations with certain people can be especially tiring to her.. She tends to hang around at her home most of the time but then she runs into the trouble of actually wanting people around, it can get pretty frustrating
When actually dealing with friends she can be pretty nice. Kai is a bit of an ass but she’s more a listener than anything. When someone brings up something she’s good at talking about she actually has a problem with not shutting up. Though she does have a good understanding side and has a good ability in reading people out and judging actions.
Not much bothers her either, it’s hard to really get a rise out of her since she is pretty self aware of herself. Think she’s a lazy piece of shit? Good for you! She already figured that out halfway through high school. Most out of any person she judges herself, she has the ability to be mostly honest with herself even if it becomes depressing at times.
Weapons/Tools: She doesn’t carry any weapons
Skills: Speaking, Reasoning, bargaining.
Are they a Stand User: Yes
Quotes: “Hm…..wanna know the time I almost got kidnapped by a kangaroo mother? Shit was fucking crazy.”
Their Goal: Get through College, get a degree and a good job.
Their Secret: She believed that the world was in black and white until the 1950’s for an embarrassingly long time.
Weaknesses: Can sometimes be very blunt and not physically strong.
Strengths: She’s good at analyzing people and telling them things they might want to hear, she can talk her way out of a lot of confrontations. Her studies can also extend to some fields in forensics, the more mental side of course.
Bio: From her parents Kai learned quite a bit about hard work and dedication. They didn’t come from wealthy families and thus couldn’t afford to go to college. For most of their lives including when they raised Kai, they worked at a restaurant with a racist owner. Not in the sense that blacks couldn’t even step foot, but the workers were clearly treated very differently than whites.
They were treated with wages as low as it could go ($5.15) which meant lots of overtime for her parents to get just some more to provide for Kai. She learned not to take what she had for granted and made sure to do her best in school. Her parents made it clear that they wanted her to do better than they did, to be able to make a better life for herself than they had.
Jumping to Kai in highschool, she was once approached by a few students who tended to harass others. She wasn’t quite as good as talking back then so she was easily cornered, it seemed like she was about to get hurt until a fruity scent descended onto the surrounding area, then suddenly Kai’s bullies started seeing things, feeling things, and finally panicking. For the rest of the day that fruity scent followed her and affected people around her, though not to the same intensity.
When she got home she was able to focus and disperse the gas and instead materialize her stand. The feeling of power she got from realizing her own powers gave her a real confidence boost, which helped her through the rest of her high school career and pushed her into college. She now lives at an apartment building off her scholarship money.
