"Why are you following me." Phrased bluntly with a slightly bitter undertone, she turned back to the shelf and pulled out the book once more as she spoke. "And you don't need to put your hands up, I don't like violence. I'm not going to slap you or anything if that's what you're worried about." by now it was pretty clear she was losing interest pretty rapidly. You could be a mile away and still see it plain as day. After finding her page in the book, she turned and began to walk to the sitting area with a swift pace in her stride, motioning him with a flick of her wrist to follow her. Athenais was making it a point that she didn't feel comfortable being in an aisle that was a bit sectioned off with David, taking the opportunity to move to an open area where they could both be seen. Demon Days seemed content with that action and wheeled backwards as it followed Athenais, keeping it's masked gaze on David and going so far as to angrily flip the man the bird with both hands.
Once she plopped down in the beanbag chair Demon Days had occupied earlier, she opened her book up again and hummed as she skimmed the page. "You get five minutes to explain before I leave. Better start now." She muttered, sending David a brief and cold gaze before looking back down at her book and motioning him to start with a flick of her pale hand.

"Not like I don't deserve it..." he said, ignoring Demon Days' insults as he continued to focus on Athenias.
"Five minutes ain't what I need." he said, taking one step back as he attempted to just get one step closer to her bag. "I need your things, but I can't s'plain why. I don't wanna do this, but I've got no choice. I got questions that need answerin' and ain't nobody got a single idea of where to start lookin'. Do yourself a favor and don't come lookin' for me." he said, taking one more step back as he placed both arms behind his back to make it seem like he had a weapon of some sort...anything at this point. As he got to the front of the bag, he used one of his arms to reach down and grab the first strap he could; the other hand still behind his back.
"I really am sorry though. But I need this more than you do."
