"Well, I'm thinkin' that our Stands are maybe a reflection of who we might really be on the inside, or maybe what we wanna be. They say everyone wears a mask, right? What if our Stand is a taste of what's under it? I mean, hey, what if I'm just some violent jerk who likes to beat things to death with his fists; or what if you're just a...well, an outgoing jackass on the inside?" David theorized, locking his fingers together behind his neck again as he looked at the sky with her. "Or maybe you've just got a bit more 'flare' to yourself then you let on? Ya seem like you could get pretty spunky when you wanna, 'specially if someone attacks you. Could be that I'm just really aggro on the inside myself...dunno really..." he said, exhaling slowly and peacefully as a breeze swept over the area once more. It truly was the perfect morning for him, and he was honestly a bit glad to have some company. He knew they'd likely have to part ways soon, but hey; enjoy the moment, right?
After closing his eyes for a moment, he quickly realized that at least one of them would have to watch the sidewalk to ensure that they didn't end up in the middle of the street! Coming to this realization, he gave a small little smile as he looked back down and placed his hands back into his jacket pockets.

Coming to this realization, he gave a small little smile as he looked back down and placed his hands back into his jacket pockets.
"Maybe you are right, perhaps they are a reflection of what we are or desire to be on the inside....though I'm a bit disappointed in myself if that's what I strive to be." Demon Days put a hand to its chest in a dramatic fashion as Athenais gave it a flat stare. "You wound me, madame, you really do." it muttered with an over emphasized hurt in its tone. Athenais could do no more than shake her head slowly as Demon Days laughed and pulled a small spin on its wheels. "Perhaps, and don't think me impolite for suggesting this, but perhaps yours might represent pent up frustrations?" She turned her deep gaze onto David, giving a small and almost unnoticeable shrug of her shoulders. "Just a thought, I don't have much to base it off of so I am more than likely incorrect." the blowing breeze prompted her to look away from him and instead turn her attention to where it came from. It was an old habit of hers to do this. The feeling of the wind against her face was a comforting thing, and with a breeze such as this she couldn't help but remember her childhood back in her dear and beloved France. That and looking directly into the breeze kept her bangs from being blown into her face, which was always a good thing.
David rose an eyebrow as Athenias revealed that she had never talked through her Stand before. Opting to show her rather than tell her, First of the Year emerged from its user and began to hover to the right of David as it looked at Athenias. Its user, David, kept his eyes forward.
"Yes. It is." FotY spoke, though it was clear that the words were originating from its user and not from its own volition. As it spoke it was also mimicking David's facial expressions and mannerisms, the Stand currently speaking with its arms folded under its chest. It also spoke with a somewhat deeper voice, but it was clearly that of David's. "It really ain't that hard for me to do it; it's really something that I just picked up a few months after 'First' fully appeared. Seein' as how I didn't know 'bout any other Stands back then, I didn't really have much of a reason to use this trick but since you're here I figure I can test it out now. 'Sides, that one seems to be real keen on speakin' for itself, so you might not need to try this." it said, pointing, with a mixture of both humor and seriousness, at Demon Days with the face of someone who had just said "pfft!". It drew its hand back and then folded its arms once more as it leaned back a bit and began to float directly behind David now.
"Bu~t," it began, "if you still want to learn how to do it, you can try doing what I do: just think real hard on what you want to say, and then just try to make him say it. It's like...you've got to make it speak like you'd make it throw a punch. Okay, okay, bad example; you ain't the fightin' type." Now First of the Year had its eyes closed, rubbing its chin in thought as David tried to think of a better example. One could tell that he was enjoying this a bit: David himself currently had a smile on his face. After mumbling out "hmm" for a few moments, FotY snapped its eyes open as an open grin came across its face and it held an index finger in the air as if to say "eureka!".
"Alrighty then, try this on for size!" it began, still holding the index finger up while it held out an open palm with the other hand. "Try making it say the words in your head like you'd make it dance. You know. Dainty stuff."

Athenais gave an ever so slight tilt of her head as she observed the stand, finding it fascinating how it seemed to mimic David's actions and behavior as he spoke through it. The image of Demon Days mimicking her own mannerisms brought a small smile to her face. That'd certainly look strange, seeing the usually lax and laid back Stand mimic her perfect posture rather than keep it's usual slouch as well as match her stride. Demon Days looked at FotY and raised it's arms in a comically offended stance. "What's that supposed to mean?" it grumbled out, once again raising its middle fingers but with a more angry implication than the usual humorous one it usually held.
"Like dancing, huh...?" Athenais let her gaze drift over to Demon Days, focusing on the Stand as she thought of something for it to say, well, rather sing. In an instant, the slouch left the helmeted stand's shoulders and it stood straight as a ruler, switching from rolling on it's wheels to walking in an unusual marching gait. It looked a bit odd considering Demon walked on the its toes when not wheeling about, and when you combined this already odd looking with a march....well, it looked damn hilarious. Demon took a deep breath and added a quirky hop in its step. "I can stand the sight of worms, and look at microscopic germs, but technicolor paciderms is really too much for me!" Its voice had gone from a deep and masculine one to match Athenais' light but dramatic singing voice, " I am not the type to faint when things are odd or things are quaint, but seeing things you know there ain't can certainly give you an awful fright! What a sight! Chase 'em away, chase 'em away! I'm afraid! Pink elephants on parade!" at the end, Demon threw its arms up and put its palms against the sides of its helmet as if in a panic.
The french girl struggled to hold in a laugh as she finished the little performance, lifting a hand and pressing it over her mouth as red tinged her face and snickers left her. She hadn't expected it to work at all, but that...that was just amazing! "L-Like that?" Athenais chuckled out with an amused little grin on her lips. As always, Disney made a magical moment happen again. Thank you, Disney.
At this, First of the Year retreated back into its user as David turned his sights back to Athenias with a skeptical laugh. "You kiddin'? When was the last time you saw a homeless dude dance?" he asked, his face losing its skeptical grin as it suddenly turned rather serious. After seeming to give the subject a bit of thought, he quickly turned back to her and added "when they weren't drunk". He cringed after he said this.
"Just trust me on this, a'ight? I ain't no dancer."
"Just trust me on this, a'ight? I ain't no dancer."
"Well, yesterday I..." the pale woman paused as David added in the bit about being drunk, closing her mouth and awkwardly rubbing her shoulder. "...In that case, never." she finished off with a small cough, looking away and back up at the sky to try and avoid eye contact. "I'll take your word for it."
David held a hand out as he turned his head away from both Athenias and Demon Days. Using his thumb and all four of his fingers, he made the signature duck bill and began to rapidly open and close it, going "blah, blah, blah!" as he did so. "Jealous, the both of ya!" he said, crossing his arms stubbornly as Athenias pressed the issue. This made the male raise his eyebrows as he turned back towards her, a look of seriousness upon his face once more.
"Okay, look, this thing I'm talkin' 'bout? It'll 'eff your head up in ways you can't imagine. Are you really sure you want what you're about to get?" he asked, leaning a bit to the side as he looked at her. If she really wanted a demonstration, he'd give it to her...but he couldn't be held responsible if she attempted to question what she had just seen for the rest of her life.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night, dude." Demon Days said with a cocky smirk and a cool shrug of its shoulders. Athenais tore her gaze from the sky and settled her deep blue eyes back on David with a sense of seriousness in those dark eyes. "I rather think I can handle it. I could handle watching the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" without even a wince, so I'd like to think not much can really, as you say, "Eff my head up"." She raised her hands and did the air quotes motion with her fingers on the last part, eyebrows furrowing in slight confusion at the weird saying. Even after all these years in New York the slang still managed to perplex her.
